Why?
This is the first certified step towards becoming a professional drone pilot. This course is designed to qualify you for the A2 Certificate of Competence if you wish to fly either over or closer to people. This enables you to fly:

Course Overview
This course will include:

Pre-course learning manual with all the relevant topics you need to know to operate your drone safely and according to the drone code. We will also require you to self-certify that ensure you have completed the CAA’s Drone and Model Aircraft Registration (DMARES) online training and test and be in possession of a ‘Flyer ID’; and have conducted a minimum 2 hour period practical flight training

Online training with one of our instructors to teach you the basic drone theory subjects including meteorology, UAS flight performance and risk assessment

75 minute multi-choice exam

A2 CofC Certificate when you pass the exam and valid for 5 years
