DJI Mavic 3 Thermal Advanced is a triple-camera drone, with visual, zoom, and thermal capabilities. It is an upgraded version of the original DJI Mavic 3 Thermal, with an improved thermal camera for enhanced infrared imaging. The EU-C1 version is under 900g and is EASA C1 class-marked, offering UK drone pilots access to the newly expanded Open A1 'over people' category from the start of 2026.
The M3TA's improved thermal camera offers more accurate temperature measurements, a clearer view at the same distance (improved pixel pitch) , and greater range with the same clarity (improved field of view). It's now pretty much the same sensor specification as the M4T.
Don't forget to add extras, such as additional C1 (4270mAH) flight batteries; Cellular dongle, RTK Module, the D-RTK 2 for high-precision positioning and relay.
